Care, Cleaning
& Storage
WARNING
Before cleaning or maintenance of the
dehumidifier, ensure the power is switched
off at the outlet, and the plug is removed.
CLEANING YOUR DEHUMIDIFIER
1. Keep the unit upright when cleaning.
2. Wipe the dehumidifier housing, control
panel, air inlet and outlet grilles with a soft,
dry cloth.
3. To remove dirt that has built-up heavily, wipe
with a slightly damp cloth only.
WARNING
Do not clean the control panel with a damp
cloth. Do not clean the unit with gasoline,
thinner or liquid detergent to avoid deformation
and fission of the unit. The cloth may contain
chemicals which may change the colour of the
dehumidifier.
NOTE
Using a brush may scratch the dehumidifier.
Do not use any objects that may scratch the unit.
WATER TANK CLEANING
NOTE
The dehumidifier cannot operate if the tank is
full or is not installed correctly. Clean the water
tank once a week if used regularly.
1. Remove the water tank from the front of
the dehumidifier by holding the sides and
pulling outwards.
2. Leaving the water tank cover in place, run
tap water into the tank using the holes in the
cover. Swish the water around the tank then
tip to empty.
3. Wipe the outside of the water tank with a
soft, dry cloth before replacing.

WATER LEVEL SENSOR
The water level sensor is situated in a chamber
found in the corner of the water tank and is held
in place by the water tank cover (see illustration
below). The sensor rises and falls with the level
of the water, and should not be removed as it
will prevent the dehumidifier from operating.
If the sensor inadvertently falls out of the water
tank during cleaning, replace it back into the
sensor chamber, ensuring the magnetic strip
faces inside towards the dehumidifier.

FOR A MORE THOROUGH CLEANING OF
THE WATER TANK:
1. Remove the water tank from the
dehumidifier.
2. Tip any water out of the tank into a sink
or drain.
3. Place the tank on a dry, level surface. Flip
the handle on the water tank cover until the
grooves in the handle match the grooves in
the handle holders. Pull outwards on both
sides of the handle to disengage.
4. Once the handle has been removed, carefully
pull upwards on either side of the tank cover.
Remove the cover.
5. Rinse the inside of the water tank with warm,
soapy water, then rinse well with clean water.
During cleaning, be careful to keep the water
level sensor in place or replace if it comes out
of the tank (see Water Level Sensor).
6. Once clean, fit the cover back onto the
water tank, and replace the handle.
7. Wipe the outside of the water tank with
a soft, dry cloth before replacing into the
dehumidifier.
