HARDWARE INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Before going on with the installation of BlueGATE it is necessary that the Bluetooth
adapter on your computer is correctly installed.
Connect the telephone line to the BlueGATE
Connect the power plug to the BlueGATE and the transformer on the power outlet
Put the power switch ON. The PW and BT leds ON will indicate the correct operation of
BlueGATE

CONNECTION WITH THE PC

Once the installation of BlueGATE is ended you must connect the BlueGATE with your
computer. Usually BlueGATE doesn't require any configuration or driver to load on your
computer. Here is the configuration procedure to be carried out on your PC or MAC.
ATTENTION: This is the procedure for the configuration and the various displays for the following
operating systems: Windows® and Mac® OS X. For Windows® the displays refer to the use with
digicom's Palladio USB Bluetooth and the Widcomm driver.
In case your adapter is another brand using a different driver, the displays will not clash but the
operations to carry our will be more or less the same. In case you can refer to the operating manual
of your device and follow the procedure concerning the detection of new Bluetooth devices.
For Mac® OS X users, Bluetooth devices are native supported by the operating system; the displays
are the one concerning the rev. 10.2 in Italian.
