6.1. TFTP Software Upgrade

Press T on the Switch Tools Configuration menu, and then you can see "TFTP
Software Upgrade" as Figure 6-2. You can upgrade firmware and perform the
configuration on this screen.

Screen Description
Image Version
Displays a version of a current firmware.
TFTP Server IP Displays the IP address of TFTP servers placed on the firmware to upgrade.
Image File Name Displays a file name of the firmware to upgrade.
The following describes commands to be used on this screen.
S Configures the IP address of TFTP servers placed on the firmware to upgrade.
Press S (command), and then the appearance of the command prompt becomes "Enter IP
address of TFTP server>". Enter the IP address of TFTP servers.
F Configures the file name of firmware to be upgraded.
Press F (command), and then the appearance of the command prompt becomes "Enter
file name>". Designate the file name within 39 half-size characters.
U Starts upgrading.
Press U (command), and then the appearance of the command prompt becomes
"Download file(Y/N)>" to check if starting is needed. Check if all the configurations are
accurate (or correct). Press Y to start upgrading. Press N to return to the original condition
if the configuration is inaccurate.
Q Returns to the top menu.
If downloading starts, the screen becomes as the Figure 6-2 to display its progress.
If you press the Ctrl+C key during the transmission (or transferring), the processing
regarding TFTP transmission can be interrupted.) After completing to download,
