If you are unable to resolve the problem using the troubleshooting guide then please contact your dealer in the first
instance .

After use/Storage

f Always transport machine with safety guard fitted .
f Always transport machine without battery fitted .
f Ensure the machine is fully secure during
transportation and take care not to bend the blade .
Correct storage is essential for maintaining the life of
the product . If possible, avoid storage areas with high
humidity which could cause rust or corrosion .
End of season storage: Remove battery and store both
machine and battery in a dry safe place away from direct
sunlight .
The garden tool is designed for cutting hedges with thicker stems and
branches up to 25 mm diameter such as the following:
– Hardwood hedges: Blackthorn, Hawthorn, Berberis
– Softwood hedges: Lleylandii, Cotoneaster, Buxus
Possible Cause

Corrective Action
Recharge battery
Allow to cool/warm
Check handle is positioned in 0° or 90°
Release trigger and reapply
Switch off the machine, remove battery and remove
material
Ensure battery is fully charged before use
Ensure battery is inserted correctly
Have the power tool repaired by an authorised
service dealer
Ensure battery is fully charged before use
Check battery display – charge battery if necessary
Engage both triggers fully
Carry out blade resharpening by a Honda authorised
service dealer
Replace the blade through your Honda authorised
service dealer
Clean blade
Tighten nut bolts
Ensure the blade cutting device cover is fitted before
storing away .
Store the hedge trimmer out of reach of children or
unauthorised persons .
Do not place objects on top of the machine .
When storing for extended periods, thoroughly clean the
product beforehand .
Lubricate before storage .
