Audio input levels can be adjusted in accordance to the external audio equipment connected. The
LEVEL SETTINGS
on-screen audio level indicator will make it easier to set the correct input level settings. The input level
should be adjusted so that the average level reaches the transition between the green and the yellow
area.
To help adjusting the input levels there is a Peak Performance meter showing the peak audio volume for
each of the audio inputs. The audio inputs are adjustable in steps of 1.5 dB from 0 - 22.5 dB.
MIC
1-3: The default levels for Mic 1, 2 and 3 are set for use with an Audio Technica AT871R or AT841R
microphone in an average video meeting room. The gain can be adjusted correctly for a wide range
of microphones.
AuDIO
4-6: Audio inputs 4, 5 and 6 are set to a default level which is adhered to by most manufacturers
of audio-visual equipment and is a level at which most audio-visual equipment (CD-players, VCRs or
DVDs) will work.

Note! The level should be adjusted so that the Peak

will avoid the Acoustic Echo Canceller to malfunction due to
overload of the microphone.
