Assembly
& Test Run
The Model G0922 is nearly ready to print right
out of the box! Assembly includes installing the
Bowden tube and the spool holder. In addition,
a test run must be performed that verifies 1) the
machine powers up correctly and 2) the axis
motors run correctly and the machine properly
homes.
If you find an unusual problem during the test run,
immediately stop the machine, disconnect it from
power, and fix the problem BEFORE operating the
machine again. The Troubleshooting table in the
SERVICE section of this manual can help.
Injury or product damage can result from
using this machine BEFORE understanding
its controls and related safety information.
DO NOT operate, or allow others to operate,
machine until the information is understood.
To assemble machine and perform test run:
1.
Remove packing brackets from X and Y axes.
2.
Connect machine to power with power cord
and power adapter.
3.
Press switch on power adapter and switch on
back of machine to turn machine ON.
4.
Press "Home" icon on main menu, then press
"All" icon to home all axes (See Homing
Axes on Page 30). Verify that the X-, Y-, and
Z-axis motors operate smoothly and that all
axes move to machine zero (build plate up
and print head in rear-right corner).
— If all axis motors operate smoothly and
move completely to home, this completes
the test run.
— If
all
axis
motors
ate smoothly and move completely to
home, turn machine OFF and refer to
Troubleshooting on Page 33.
