Node Enter the NFN node number of the NFN-GW-EM-3.
(Default is 240)
Panel Label Enter panel label.
• Select None if Mass Notification is not used (default).

• Select Lower Than Fire if fire alarms have priority over Mass Notifications.
Notification
• Select Higher Than Fire if Mass Notifications have priority over fire alarms.
Priority
• Selecting Yes enables the gateway to send the time to the FACPs on the NFN network.
Send Time to
• Selecting No prevents the gateway from sending time to the panels.

Network Settings
• Select High for a high-noise NFN network.
Channel A
• Select Low for a low-noise NFN network.
Threshold
• Select High for a high-noise NFN network.

• Select Low for a low-noise NFN network.

• Select Yes for a Class X Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) configured NFN network.
Class X
• Select No for a Class B SLC configured NFN network (default).
Time Server Enter the IP address or DNS name for the time server (or the workstation configured as the time
Address server) to which the NFN-GW-EM-3 connects. When the SNTP server address is configured, the
NFN-GW-EM-3 ignores the time sent by the NFN and only obtains the time from the SNTP server.
When the SNTP server address is not configured, the NFN-GW-EM-3 uses the time sent by the
NFN.
To manually update the time from the SNTP server, click the Request Time button. A dialog box
displays with the current time from the server or displays a connection problem message if the
address is invalid.
GMT Reference
GMT Offset Set the offset (hours and minutes) from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
(Default is -5 hours, 00 minutes [Eastern Standard Time].)
Observe Select one of the following from the drop-down list:
Daylight • Yes - The gateway observes Daylight Savings Time (DST).
Saving Time • No - The gateway does not observe Daylight Savings Time.
Time Zone Select the time zone standard from the drop-down list.
Reference (Default is US Standard.)
DST Begin/DST End - Displays only when the "Other Standard" option is selected for the time zone reference.
Series Select the option (First to Fifth or Last) from the drop-down list.
Reference
Day of Week Select from the drop-down list.
Month Select from the drop-down list.
Hour Enter the hour in 24 hour time (0-23).
Hour Select Local Time or GMT from the drop-down list.
Reference
Configures the web portal feature for use with eVance. Requires the eVance user ID, password,
unique web portal name, and web portal description. Utilizes predefined customers and buildings
from eVance. See 3.4, "Web Portal Setup".
