System Errors

When a system error occurs, the LINK, CONDUCT, and ERROR indicators flash simulta-
neously in a repeating patttern. You can determine the type of error by counting the num-
ber of flashes. There's a two second pause between each series of flashes, as shown in the
following illustration.

Make sure that all power amps are powered up.
Make sure that each power amp is assigned an exclusive amp ID.
Check the RS-485 cable connection between each power amp. If a cable is not
connected properly, or a cable is faulty, power amps further down the line will not
be detected.
Check your Euro-block connector wiring at the ACU16-C and power amps.
This means that the NHB32-C cannot lock to the currently selected wordclock
source. Check and correct the source, or select another.
This indicates that a patch other than the one recalled or stored last is selected.
Recall the patch, or select the patch that was last recalled or stored in order to
stop it flashing.

Two or more units are set to the same ID. Make sure that all units are assigned

an exclusive ID.
Some NHB32-Cs are in COM mode, some are in MIDI mode. On Net-

workAmp Manager's COM/MIDI dialog box, cancel COM/MIDI mode, and
then set as required.
Three or more NHB32-Cs are in either COM or MIDI mode. On NetworkAmp
4
Manager's COM/MIDI dialog box, cancel COM/MIDI mode, and then set the
required mode for two NHB32-Cs.
One or more ACU16-C/NHB32-C units have experienced an internal memory
read error. Check the error messages in NetworkAmp Manager to determine

which units are affected. The units maybe faulty, in which case you should
contact your Yamaha dealer.
One or more ACU16-C/NHB32-C units have experienced an internal memory
write error. Check the error messages in NetworkAmp Manager to determine

which units are affected. The units maybe faulty, in which case you should
contact your Yamaha dealer.
