General
The CIU 888 is Honyewell's next generation Communication Interface
Unit. The CIU 888 is the crucial link between tank gauging instruments
and control room systems. It provides operators with reliable and
accurate real-time tank inventory data 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week.

The purpose of this manual is to provide an overview of the main
features and functions of the CIU 888.
