what it's for
The chopping blade can be used to puree soft or cooked foods and chop/mince raw foods. You
can use it to make dressings, mash potatoes, make bread crumbs, chop herbs and mix/blend all
sorts of ingredients.
fitting it
The chopping blade is very sharp! Take care when handling or cleaning it.
1.
Lower the processor bowl over the drive shaft, ensuring the

Rotate the processor bowl until the

Slide the chopping blade onto the spindle until it clicks.

Slide the chopping blade assembly onto the drive shaft in the processor bowl.

Add the ingredients to the processor bowl.

Fit the bowl lid onto the processor bowl ensuring the

Rotate the lid until the
processor bowl.

Fit the food pusher into the feed tube.

For the processor to operate, the processor bowl and lid must be correctly fitted.
Add the ingredients to the processor bowl, refit the processor bowl lid and press the ON button.
For greater control over texture and consistency, you can use the PULSE button pressing it for
short bursts.
Don't attempt to chop hard foodstuffs such as coffee beans, ice cubes, etc.
Remove any bones or tendons from meat before processing.
Don't operate your food processor for more than 30 seconds without resting it for
30 seconds to allow the motor to cool down.
cleaning it
It's best to clean your processor as soon as you have finished using it. When you have emptied the
contents of the processor bowl, refit it to the base unit and:
Fill the processor bowl a quarter full with warm water and add one drop of washing up liquid.
Refit the processor bowl lid and press the pulse button for a few seconds.
Remove the bowl, lid, chopping blade and spindle and rinse them under clean running water.
Dry the processor bowl, lid and chopping blade with a soft cloth.
To remove the blade from the spindle, press in the two clips on either side of the spindle (A)
and slide the blade off (B).
Never use any harsh abrasive cleaning products to clean your processor bowl or any other part of
your food processor.
