continuous feed system

When you need to slice or grate larger quantities than the processor bowl can hold, you can use
your compact food processor's continuous feed system. This uses a sliding shutter in the lid and
a special disk fitted to the spindle to divert the processed food into the large capacity container
included with your compact food processor.
fitting
The slicing and grating blades are very sharp! Take care when handling or cleaning
them.
Fit the processor bowl as previously described.
1.
Fit the continuous feed disk onto the spindle.
.
Fit the slicing or grating disk onto the spindle and press the disk downwards as far as it will
go. Whichever side of the slicing or grating blade is facing up will be the side that is used.
.
Slide the slicing/grating assembly over the drive shaft in the processor bowl.
.
Fit the processor bowl lid as previously described. Lift the continuous feed shutter upwards
in the lid.
5.
Place the large capacity container under the lid outlet.
using
For the processor to operate, the processor bowl and lid must be correctly fitted.
Place the ingredients into the feed tube. Press the ON switch. Use the pusher to exert an even
pressure onto the food as it is processed by the blade. For slicing, stack the food upright into the
feed tube. When grating, position the food sideways.
Always use the food pusher to push food down the feed tube. Never use your
fingers or any other kind of implement.
Don't operate your food processor for more than 1 minute without resting it for 30
seconds to allow the motor to cool down.
cleaning
It's best to clean your processor as soon as you have finished using it. Empty the contents of the
processor bowl and remove the slicing/grating accessory.
Wash the processor bowl and lid with warm water and washing up liquid.
Rinse under clean running water.
Remove the slicing or grating disk and the continuous feed disk from the spindle by pushing
them upwards. Carefully wash them in warm, soapy water. Dry the processor bowl, lid,
slicing/grating disk, continuous feed disk and spindle with a soft cloth.
