SEL/RESET Button

SEL/RESET BUTTON
To switch the information display
between the odometer, trip meter,
outside temperature, and average
fuel mileage, press the SEL/RESET
button repeatedly.

Odometer

The odometer shows the total
number of kilometers or miles your
vehicle has been driven. On some
models, you can switch the display
between kilometers and miles (see
page 87 ).
The odometer, the average fuel
mileage and the outside temperature
indicator use the same display. To
switch the display between them,
press and release the SEL/RESET
button repeatedly. When you turn
the ignition switch to the ON (II)
position, what you last selected is
shown on the information display.

Trip Meter

This meter shows the number of
kilometers or miles driven since you
last reset it. On some models, you
can switch the display between
kilometers and miles (see page
There are two trip meters: Trip A
and Trip B. Switch between these
displays by pressing the SEL/
RESET button repeatedly. Each trip
meter works independently, so you
can keep track of two different
distances.
When you turn the ignition switch to
the ON (II) position, what you last
selected is displayed.
To reset a trip meter, display it, and
then press and hold the SEL/RESET
button until the number resets to
''0.0.''
