Auto/manual switch kit

Step
Install new switch:

• See Figure 1. Attach switch label to side wall.
• Remove nut from threads on switch. Insert switch through side wall. Make sure the stub
engages the small hole.
• Screw the nut onto the switch shaft and tighten it securely.
• Attach knob to shaft with set screw on flat side of shaft.

Connect switch wires:
• If adding (not replacing) the switch, add the second terminal board (terminals 13 thru 24) if needed.
• If adding (not replacing) the switch, remove the wires connected to terminals 11 and 12.
Connect the auto/manual switch red wire to terminal 11 and the red-black wire to terminal 12.
Select 3 adjacent terminals on the bottom terminal board, connect the auto/manual switch black wire
(120/240VAC), the violet wire (CW) and green-black wire (CCW).
If adding or replacing the switch, connect the auto/manual switch violet-black wire to terminal 9 and brown-
black wire to terminal 10.

Reattach terminal board plate.

Install new gasket and reattach cover.

Check switch for proper operation:
• Reconnect power.
• Set switch to CW and check for clockwise motion.
• Set switch to CCW and check for counterclockwise motion.
• Set switch to A/M and check for motion per 4-20 mA.
• If motion is incorrect, disassemble and check wiring in step 5. Repeat steps 6-8.
