Battery Disposal

For EC countries: Defective or used batteries must be recycled according to the guideline
2006/66/EEC.

Troubleshooting

SYMPTOM
Meter does not work
properly.
Unit will not turn ON.
The unit shows high
or low values.

POSSIBLE REASON
Battery low on power.
Meter needs calibration.
Dead battery.
Sensor is still adjusting to
change in temperature or
humidity.
SOLUTION
Replace battery.
Send the unit for
calibration to the RIDGID
Independent Authorized
Service Center.
Replace battery.
Allow sufficient time
(30 s) for the meter sensor
to stabilize.
