Remote control

1 MUTE
– to interrupt or resume sound reproduction.
2 OPEN•CLOSE ç
– to open or close the disc tray.
3 Numeric Keypad (0-9)
– to enter a track/title/file number or exact point
of the disc
– to enter password
4 GOTO
– to start playback at any chosen time on the disc
5 VOL +/-
– adjusts the volume upward/downward.
6 DISC MENU (disc mode only)
– DVD/VCD: enters or exits the disc contents
menu.
– DVD: press and hold to return to TITLE.
– in VCD/SVCD mode, to select PBC ON or PBC
OFF.
7 5 / 4 / 1 / 2
– to select movement direction in disc contents
menu/system menu bar.
– in JPEG disc mode, to rotate the picture for
viewing.

– moves an enlarged picture up/down/left/right

– to exit or confirm the selection.
8 DBB
– enables or disables bass enhancement.

– In DISC/USB mode, to interrupt playback.

– Tuner: selects a preset radio station.

– to play tracks in a random order

– sets the sleep timer function (auto-off).
$ DISPLAY
– displays the disc information on the TV screen.

for VCD 2.0 ...... to return to the disc menu if
available during playback.
for DVD ............. to return to the previously
selected menu.
^ ZOOM
– to zoom in or zoom out picture.

– switches the set on/off
* PROG
– DVD/VCD/CD/MP3-CD: enters the program
menu in STOP position.
– in TUNER mode, to program preset radio
stations.

settings (OPTIMAL, JAZZ, ROCK, or TECHNO).

– In DISC/USB mode, to start playback.

– In DISC/USB mode, to stop playback or to clear
a program.

– to play tracks repeatedly.
§ ANGLE
– selects a DVD camera angle.
≥ TIMER ON/OFF
– sets the timer on/off.
• TIMER
– sets a time for switching on the system.
ª AUDIO
– to select preferred language for audio.
– to select an audio mode when playing a SVCD/
VCD disc with different channels recorded.
º SUBTITLE
– to select desired DVD subtitle.
Notes:
– First, select the source you wish to control by
pressing one of the source select keys on the
remote control (DISC or TUNER, for example).
– Then select the desired function ( í , ë or 2
for example).
