Auto/manual switch kit

Remove lower rear cover.

Remove terminal board plate.

If replacing the switch, disconnect switch wires and remove switch:
Disconnect auto/manual switch wires from TB1-1, TB1-8, TB1-9, TB2-12, TB2-13, TB4-28, TB4-
29. (TB1 is the top terminal board. TB1-1 is the leftmost terminal on the top terminal board.)
Remove switch knob by pulling it off the shaft.
Remove nut securing switch to side of unit.
Pull switch out of unit side wall.

Install new switch:
See Figure 1. Attach switch label to side wall.
Remove nut from threads on switch. Insert switch through side wall. Make sure the stub
engages the small hole.
Screw the nut onto the switch shaft and tighten it securely.
Attach knob to shaft with set screw on flat side of shaft.

Connect switch wires:
If adding (not replacing) the switch, remove blue and orange wires from TB1-8 and 9. Connect
blue wire to TB2-13 and orange wire to TB2-12.
If adding or replacing the switch, one at a time connect auto/manual switch wires as follows.
Some terminals have dual (piggyback) wires attached; make sure the wires are attached to the
correct terminals. Make sure piggyback wires on outermost terminals are facing the inner
terminals, not facing away from the terminals. For example, TB1-1 should have its piggyback
terminal positioned between TB1-1 and TB1-2.
Black TB1-1, white TB1-8, brown TB1-9, green TB2-12, violet TB2-13, orange TB4-28, red TB4-29.

Reattach terminal board plate.

Install new gasket and reattach cover.
