Symptom
A green lamp on the charger comes
on for approximately 5-10 seconds
when the battery is attached. After
that a red warning sign flashes on the
charger. This sequence then occurs
again.

6.5 Troubleshooting appendix

6.5.1 Power connectors
Make sure connectors are clean and that metal surfaces
are not damaged.
Note: The connection tabs on the power connectors
have the same construction on product, battery and
charger. The colors can be different.
6.5.2 Keypad connector
Make sure that the 2 connector parts are fully attached.
Look for damaged or loose cables.
6.5.3 Signal connector for the main switch
For products with: S/N -20180600615
Make sure the white female connector is fully attached
to the main switch. Look for damaged or loose cables.

Possible causes
Defective Battery.
Defective charger.
Also look for signs of water, corrosion or short circuit on
the connector and pins when disassembled.
6.5.4 Signal connector for the main switch
For products with: S/N -20180600615
Apply grease between the pins 1 and 2 and between the
pins 3 and 4, inside as well as outside.
Recommended step
Put the battery in a charger. If the
same problem occurs, replace the
battery.
Put a battery in the charger. If the
same problem occurs, replace the
charger.
