HOW TO USE
Installing and removing bit
To install the drill bit, place it in the chuck
as
far
as it
will go. Tighten the chuck by
hand. Place the chuck key in each of three
holes, and tighten clockwise.
To remove the drill bit, place the chuck
key into the chuck hole and turn counter-
clockwise.
Switch action
To start the tool, simply squeeze the
switch lever.
Release
the lever to stop.
Tool speed (0
to
1,400 RPM) is increased
by increasing pressure on the lever,
CAUTION:
Before plugging in the tool, always check
to see that the paddle switch actuates pro-
perly and returns to the "OFF" position
when released.
Reversing switch action
This tool has the reversing switch to change
the direction of rotation. Turn the revers-
ing switch knob
so
that
i t s
protrusion will
point to marking for clockwise rota-
tion or

marking for counterclockwise
rotation.
CAUTION:
Always check the direction of rotation
before drilling.
