    Power Management Modes If you have VESA’s DPM-compliant video card or software installed in your PC, the display can automatically reduce its power consumption when not in use. This is referred to as power save mode*. If the computer detects input from the keyboard, mouse, or other input devices, the display automatically resumes functioning.

Self-Test Your display provides a self-test feature that allows you to check whether your display is functioning properly. If your display and computer are properly connected but the display screen remains dark, run the display self-test by performing the following steps: 1.
