USB retaining clamp must be used in
hazardous location installations as follows:

The equipment shall be installed in an
enclosure that provides a minimum
ingress protection of IP 54 in
accordance with IEC 60079-0.
Transient protection shall be provided
that is set at a level not exceeding 140%
of the peak rated voltage value at the
supply terminals to the equipment.
Connect the USB cable.
Insert the retaining clamp in the port
above the USB connector.
Adjust the position of the retaining
clamp by pushing the lever of the
retaining clamp. Close the retaining
clamp to fit the size of the cable.
