Using the streamer

The control interface consists of the control button, the LED indicators and the mechanism of
inserting or ejecting a cartridge.
1 = LED-indicator "Clean"
2 = LED-indicator "Tape"
When a cartridge is removed, the cartridge door may remain open. In this case, make sure

that the cartridge door is closed again. Otherwise the streamer may be damaged.

Control button/function key

The control button/function key (5) can be used for three different functions:
– to eject the cartridge in normal operation
– to eject the cartridge in emergency operation (emergency removal)
– Emergency reset of the streamer

Ejecting cartridge in normal operation

► Press the control button/function key (5) briefly (about 1 second)
The cartridge is ejected (see section "Unloading a cartridge").

Ensure that all system operations are completed. Otherwise a data loss can be the result.
