Because of hardware differences, setup procedures differ for 340 series Access
Points and 350 series Access Points. Cabling instructions for each series are
included in the following sections:

Connecting Cables on 350 Series Access Points
Follow these steps to connect the Ethernet cable and power supply on 340 series
Access Points:
Plug the RJ-45 Ethernet connector into the Ethernet port on the back of the Access
Point.
Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the 10/100 Ethernet LAN.
Do not connect the Ethernet cable when the Access Point is powered
up. Always connect the Ethernet cable before you apply power to the
Access Point.
The Access Point does not have an on/off switch, so power is applied
to the unit when you plug it in.
Plug the power adapter into a suitable power receptacle.
Plug the power connector into the back of the Access Point.
