To send informational messages, enter the keyword informs.
To send the SNMP version to use for notification messages, enter the keyword version.
To identify the SNMPv1 community string, enter the name of the community-string.

Enable all Dell Networking enterprise-specific and RFC-defined traps using the snmp-server enable
traps command from CONFIGURATION mode.

The following example lists the RFC-defined SNMP traps and the command used to enable each. The
coldStart and warmStart traps are enabled using a single command.

Enabling a Subset of SNMP Traps
You can enable a subset of Dell Networking enterprise-specific SNMP traps using one of the following listed
command options.
To enable a subset of Dell Networking enterprise-specific SNMP traps, use the following command.

Enable a subset of SNMP traps.
snmp-server enable traps
NOTE:
The envmon option enables all environment traps including those traps that are enabled with the
envmon supply, envmon temperature, and envmon fan options.
