In (1) and (2), the following guidances are printed, the Power LED flashes, and instructs the
user's operations.
(1) Continuing self-test guidance
Select Modes by pressing Feed Button.
Continue SELF-TEST: Less than 1 second
Mode Selection : 1 second or more

Self-test Mode

You can check the following items using the self-test.
• Firmware version
• Interface information
• Buffer capacity
• BUSY condition (depends on the interface)
• Built-in fonts
• Auto line feed setting (parallel interface only)
• Print density
• Maintenance information (head mileage, autocut count)
• Settings of Dip switch 1 and 2

Select Modes by executing following
procedure.
step 1. Press the Feed button less

as the selected mode number.
