Points connected to the security portion of your system that
trigger alarms when violated. These include magnetic
contact switches on doors and windows, interior motion
detectors, pressure sensitive mats, glass breakage sensors,
wired window screens, and other sophisticated sensing
devices. Your custom security system includes only those
devices you selected for your installation.
Your system may include wireless RF devices and sensors
that communicate with the system via radio frequency rather
than using wire. Wireless keys and pendants give you
convenient ways to operate your system. Wireless sensors
allow installation in areas where wiring could be very difficult
or undesirable in your home decor.
The system can be called from a remote telephone when
away from home.
The level of authority of each passcode to operate specific
modes and to make changes to the security. Master, Family
and Guest security levels are supported by the system and
each can be programmed to suit your specific requirements.
Devices such as magnetic contact switches on doors and
windows, interior motion detectors, pressure sensitive mats,
glass breakage sensors, wired window screens that, when
activated (armed), detect an intruder.
Separate easy-to-operate protection can be provided for
areas such as office or workshop or objects such as safe,
liquor cabinet, gun rack, etc. When you are at home,
violating this protection first sounds a warning alert before
calling the Customer Service Center for help. Violations of
this protection immediately sound alarms and summon help
whenever certain modes are selected that indicate the
home would be vacant.
This optional feature enables you to use any touch tone
telephone to check the status of your system: arm or disarm
the security, to turn all automated lights off and to make
some changes to the telephone access system.
The electronic user keypad you use to control your system.
Your system can include more than one user keypad. Typical
locations for user keypads are near main entrances, exits
and in the master bedroom.
