A feature that causes the Honeywell 7000 to send a code to
a predetermined pager. The code indicates which family
member has returned home.
When the system is turned on and while you are away from
home, selected lights can come on after dusk and turn off at
random intervals to make the home look occupied.
The local in house telephone can be used to operature the
system.
The condition the Honeywell 7000 goes into upon system
power up and programming initialization. This arms all
security points of protection, both perimeter and interior.
Easy-to-remember names that identify preprogrammed
instructions you can issue to the system. The three types of
available modes are:
— Mode, Disarmed: The system reverts to this predefined
security arrangement whenever a valid passcode is
entered and no other mode is selected. Entering a valid
passcode silences the audible alarm and turns off the
common security sensors. This mode is pre-pro-
grammed to say your name on your keypad. An
example of what you would see is "THE SMITH'S".
— Mode, Security: A predefined security arrangement that
changes the security for your entire home to having some
sensors activated to be ready to go into alarm, other
sensors disabled, and other sensors that chime when
violated. A different security mode corresponds with each
key lifestyle situation. You will have six pre-programmed
security modes, "Away All On", "Away Partial", "Home",
"Home Sleep", "On Watch" and "System Test".
— Mode, Special Protection: Modes that are used to
change only the state of the protection for special areas
or objects such as the home office, safe, workshop,
liquor cabinet, gun rack, etc. Specific words/phrases
such as OPEN OFFICE, CLOSE SHOP, OPEN BAR,
etc. are used to identify your desired actions. A red light
next to the up arrow on the system keypad indicates
that some special protection was turned off.
