OPERATING YOUR BREVILLE JETSTEAM IRON

USING THE SHOT OF STEAM

The Shot Of Steam function provides an
extra burst of steam, ideal for the removal
of stubborn creases and wrinkles during
steam or dry ironing.
Step 1.
Turn the Temperature dial to the maximum
setting (ie. cotton to linen) and wait for the
heating Indicator Light to go out.
Step 2.
Lifting the iron slightly above the surface of
the fabric, firmly press the Shot Of Steam
button and then release it. An intense burst
of steam will penetrate deep into the fabric.
NOTE:
For optimal steam output, leave
an interval of at least four seconds
between pressing the Shot Of
Steam button.
The Shot Of Steam can be used
when the Steam Selector Dial is in
maximum setting.
For a stronger surge of steam, set
the Steam Selector Dial to the
DRY
position.
VERTICAL SHOT OF STEAM
The Vertical Shot Of Steam allows you
to use the iron for vertical ironing. This is
especially useful for getting wrinkles out of
hanging clothes, curtains, wall hangings etc.
Simply hold the iron vertically, positioned
in front with a slight distance from the item
to be steamed, and press the Shot Of
Steam button.
NEVER USE THE VERTICAL
!
