Copying a 2-Sided Original onto One Side of a Sheet (Double Exposure)

Multiple pages (2, 4 or 8 sheets) are copied on a page.
The images of originals are reduced to fi t into the size of
the copy paper.
Copies are saddle-stitched with staples. This function is
only available when an optional 1Bin Saddle-Stitch Finisher
is installed.
Copies are sorted and stapled by set. This function is only
available when optional Finisher is installed.
Copies are sorted by page and output on the tray with a
shift. This function is only available when optional Finisher
is installed.
1 Place original(s) on the Platen Glass.
Copying in Black and White
1 Place original(s). 2 Select "Quality Adj.".
Face up.

"Insertion / Overlay" Tab

"More Menus".
3 Select "Black".
Multiple images of an Original are copied on a page.
Image Repeat
An odd sized original can be centered automatically on
the selected paper.
Centering
Originals can be copied with a form overlaid.
Place the page to be overlaid as the fi rst original (top).
The image of the fi rst original is overlaid on the copies of
the succeeding originals. You can specify the colour for
Overlay
the overlay form. The overlay form can be saved in the
machine (up to 12 forms) for future copying use.
Previously registered overlay forms can be recalled and
overlaid on the copies.
Form Overlay
3 Select "Insertion / Overlay", and then
select "Double Exposure".
4 Enter the number of
copies, and press
the Start key.
