Installation
An alternative anti-tipping
mechanism
If it is not possible to fix the anti-tipping
mechanisms securely to the floor of the
niche, the appliance can be secured at
the top using a wooden beam. If this
method is used, then there must not be
any gap between the appliance and the
wooden beam.
– The wooden beam must be at least
75 mm x 100 mm thick.
– The length of the beam must be the
same as the width of the building-in
niche.
– If the building-in niche is deeper than
the appliance, a thicker wooden
beam should be used.
– The wooden beam must cover the
appliance to a depth of at least
50.8 mm (see diagram).

^ Mark the position of the lower edge of
the wooden beam on the rear wall of
the niche.
^ Select screws of a length depending
on the thickness of the wood.
Use the number of screws
appropriate to the housing width to
ensure that the wooden beam is
securely fixed.
^ Check where the upright wall
supports are in the back of the niche,
and mark the drill holes in the
wooden beam accordingly.
^ First, drill the holes in the wooden
beam.
^ Secure the wooden beam to the back
wall of the niche.
Now prepare the mains water
connection for the appliance (see
"Mains water connection").
