Section 700 - Operation

Direct Trunk Access

Extensions can seize a specific trunk for outgoing calls. Extensions can also use Direct Trunk Access
to test trunks or to access data trunks.
Operation
To use Direct Trunk Access:
1. Lift the handset.
2. Enter the Direct Trunk Access code (default = 88).
3. Enter the desired trunk number.
4. Dial the phone number.

MCO Trunk Access

The System supports up to 5 MCO groups for each MCO tenant group. You can seize an idle trunk
from the MCO trunk group by entering the MCO access code.
Operation
To seize an idle trunk:
1. Lift the handset.
2. Enter the desired trunk access number (9 or 81-84). (See
Table 24 on page 308.)
3. Dial the phone number.
