Youroventemperatureis controlledvery accurately
usingan ovencontrolsystem.It is recommendedthat
you operatethe ovenfor a numberof weeksto
becomefamiliarwith yournew oven'sperformance.
If you thinkan adjustmentis necessary,see the Adjust
the OvenThermostatsection.It listseasy Do It
Yourse~instructions o n how to adjustthe thermostat.
NOTE: Whenthe ovenis hot, the frontof the
cookingcentergetshot too.
How to Set YourOven for Baking
To avoid possibleburns, placethe shelvesin the
correctpositionbeforeyou turn the ovenon.
1. Pressthe BAKEpad.
2. Pressthe INCREASEor DECREASE pad.The last
temperature usedwillappearin thedisplay. C ontinue
pressinguntilthe desiredtemperature is displayed.
3. PresstheSTART pad.Whentheovenstartsto heat,
thewords"BA~' and"TEMP'andthechanging
temperature, startingat 10O°F., willbe displayed.
Whentheovenreachesthetemperature y ouset,atone
willsoundanda "PrE'(preheating) flashesin the
display. T hedisplaythenshowsthesettemperature
continuously.
4. Press the CLEAWOFFpad whenbakingis finished
and then removethe food from the oven.
NOTE:
Youmay set the timerto the desiredcookingtime.
Seethe OvenControl,Clockand Timersection.
A fan may automatically turn on and off to cool
internalparts,This is normal,and the fan may
continueto run even afterthe ovenis turnedoff.
