• When "H.264" is selected, the priority band may not
be maintained if "H.264/MPEG-4(2)" is selected for
"Priority stream" - "Stream type" on the [System]
tab of the "User mng." page.
• When using the SD memory recording function of a
Panasonic's network disk recorder, select "JPEG"
for "Recording format".
• When the setting of "Recording format" is changed
between "JPEG" and "H.264", format the SD mem-
ory card. (☞ Page 36)
• Due to the difference in file formats, the indication of
remaining capacity of the SD memory card differs
between the cases when "JPEG" is selected and
when "H.264" is selected for "Recording format".
• When "H.264" is selected for "Recording format",
the following settings in "H.264 recording"; "Image
capture size", "Frame rate*", "Max bit rate", "Image
quality", and "Refresh interval" will be read from the
settings in "H.264(2)". When "2s", "3s", "4s" or "5s"
is selected for "Refresh interval" of "H.264(2)",
"Refresh interval" for "H.264 recording" will be set
to "1s" after changing "Recording format" to
"H.264".
• When the setting value of "Recording format" is
changed to "H.264", the setting value of "Save logs"
on the [Log] tab (☞ page 43) of the "Basic" page will
automatically be changed.
• When the setting value of "Recording format" is
changed to "H.264", the setting value of "Save logs"
on the [Log] tab (☞ page 43) of the "Basic" page will
automatically be changed.
• When "H.264" is selected for "Recording format",
alarm images are saved in accordance with the set-
tings of "Pre alarm" and "Post alarm (Recording)
duration" on the [Alarm] tab of the "Alarm" page.
• When "H.264" is selected for "Recording format",
the name of the saved file will be given automati-
cally.
■ Common
[Remaining capacity notification]
When the mail notification function or the Panasonic
alarm protocol function is used to provide notification of
the remaining capacity of the SD memory card, select a
level to be notified at from the following.
50%/ 20%/ 10%/ 5%/ 2%
Default: 50%
Note:
• Notification will be provided each time the remaining
capacity of the SD memory card reached the values
above.
For example, notification will be provided each time
the remaining capacity reaches 50%, 20%, 10%,
5% and 2% when "50%" is selected. Notification
may not always be made at the very moment when
the remaining capacity of the SD memory card has
reached each value.
[Save trigger]
Select a trigger to save images on the SD memory card
from the following.
FTP error: Saves images when images have failed to
transmit to the FTP server by the FTP periodic
image transmission function. (Available only for
JPEG images)
Alarm input: Saves images at an alarm occurrence.
Manual: Saves images manually.
Schedule: Saves images in accordance with the set-
tings for "Schedule" (☞ page 120). (Available only
for H.264 images)
Default: FTP error
Note:
• When "H.264" is selected for "Recording format",
"FTP error" is unavailable.
• Select "FTP error" when images are to be transmit-
ted to the FTP server at an alarm occurrence.
• When "JPEG" is selected for "Recording format",
"Schedule" is unavailable.
[Overwrite]
Determine whether or not to overwrite when the
remaining capacity of the SD memory card becomes
insufficient.
This setting is available only when "Manual" or
"Schedule" is selected for "Save trigger".
On: Overwrites when the remaining capacity of the SD
memory card becomes insufficient. (The oldest
image is the first to be overwritten.)
Off: Stops saving images on the SD memory card when
the SD memory card becomes full.
Default: Off
Note:
The overwrite setting will be as follows according to
the "Save trigger" setting.
FTP error: Will not be overwritten.
Alarm input: Will be overwritten.
Manual, Schedule: Can be determined by selecting
"On" or "Off" for "Overwrite".
