Step M. Run Configuration Utilities

After you have installed your software, you might need to run one or more
configuration utilities. Not all of these steps are required. Please read each step
carefully to determine if you need to complete it. The steps covered in this section
are:
Run HP NetRAID Express Tools if you need to do any of the following:
Set the SCSI Transfer Rate if you are using Ultra or Ultra2 SCSI
devices.
Disable the adapter BIOS (to prevent booting from the selected
adapter).
Change SCSI terminations. (This is not normally required.)
Enable the Power Fail Safeguard feature if you want to protect your
disk arrays during the reconstruction process should a power failure
occur. (For complete information on this feature, see the HP NetRAID
Series User Guide in Information Assistant.)
Run either the EISA Configuration Utility (ECU) or the Setup utility to
enable or disable ports, or to change settings, such as interrupts and MP
(multi-processor) specification settings. (The Setup utility resides in your
HP NetServer system BIOS; refer to your system documentation for details
of the settings it can change.)

Run HP NetRAID Express Tools

HP NetRAID Express Tools is a configuration and management utility that
resides in the adapter BIOS. For more information about it and its additional
functions, refer to the HP NetRAID Series User Guide in Information Assistant.
Run HP NetRAID Express Tools if you need to do any of the following at this
