5. Type a:\setup and follow the onscreen instructions.
6. At the prompt, select the utilities to install:
You must select the Registration Server option.
You must select the NetRAID Assistant option.
If your Windows NT server also has an HP NetRAID adapter that
needs to be managed, then select the Access Service option as well.
7. Finish the installation.
8. Edit the regserv.dat file in
c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc to add the name of the
Registration Server. For example, if you named your Windows NT server
"sandy," then you would add the text sandy to regserv.dat file.
9. Edit the hosts file in c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc to add the node names
of the Banyan server and the Registration Server and their IP addresses.
10. Test your edits by pinging the Banyan server and the Registration Server
by node names.
11. Reboot the Windows NT server or client.
12. Run the Registration Server utility by double-clicking the Registration
icon in the NetRAID folder.
13. Reboot the Banyan server, or type megaserv& at the command prompt.
14. Watch the screen of the Registration Server (your Windows NT server or
client). You should see that the Banyan server is now registered.
15. On the Windows NT server or client, start the HP NetRAID Assistant
utility by double-clicking the NetRAID Assistant icon.
16. At the HP NetRAID Assistant window, you should see a Server Selector
box from which you can select the Banyan server.
