Removal
1) Remove
the special
nut, @.

Remove
the
SLEEVE
@
the
COMPL
HEAD
BRACKET
® and
the SPRING
COIL ©, in that
order.
Note: Take care not to scratch or soil the ACE head
surface.

Remounting
Apply grease
to the axle
© as shown
in Fig. A.
Apply grease
to the spot where
the COMPL
HEAD
BRACKET
@ makes
contact
with
the
STOPPER @.
Mount
the SPRING
COIL © and
the COMPL
HEAD
BRACKET Q, in that order, onto the axle
©. Hook one end of the SPRING COIL @ to the
notch ©, and
the other
end
to the COMPL
HEAD
BRACKET,
so
that
the
COMPL
HEAD
BRACKET
is pressed against the STOPPER @.
Mount
the
special
nut @ onto
the
axle ©
through
the SLEEVE ©.
Clean
the ACE
head
surface
with
a chamois
leather
moistened
with
methyl
alcohol.
Perform
ACE head adjustment
as instructed
in
7-4,
