BACK TENSION TORQUE CHECK
7-3-1.Tension Pole (Back Tension Guide) Position
Adjustment (See Fig. 7-3-1.)

Set the PLAY mode with the mode selector (VHJ-

3) Confirm that the space between the end of chassis
and the Tension arm is from 4mm to 6mm.

Incase the tension pole is not withim 4-6mm, adjust
it by loosening the screw @ a little and changing the
mounting position of the BAND HOLDER © in the
direction of the arrow ©.
5)
Set the EJECT mode with the mode selector.

Mount the COMPL CASSETTE
MECHANISM
as in-
structed in P.101.
7)
Confirm
that back tension
torque
is within 42+
5gem, as instructed in 7-3-2.below.
