One track can be divided into two tracks at any point.
Dividing a Track (DIVIDE Function)
_
1) Pause playback at the point where you want to divide the track.
e Press the [>I] key at the point where you
want to divide the track.

@ Press the EDIT/AUTO MARK/TIME MARK key

'TIME MARK
A confirmatory message regarding
whether or not the track should be divided
is displayed.
® To cancel the operation, press the Il (OFF)
key.
Press the ENTER/SYNCHRO REC key again.

track is divided and Pause status is
engaged at the start of the second of the
two tracks.
®@ Each track number following the divided track
is lowered by one.
@|f the track has a track name, the divided

tracks will have the same name.
@ When a track is divided, both tracks will have
the same recording date and time.
When editing has been completed, press the HI(OFF) key and turn the power off.
The TOC will be recorded.
® Although tracks can be divided up to a maximum of 255 tracks, which is the unit's

capacity, it may not be possible to divide a track even if the maximum number has
not been reached. (TOC FULL — (65) )
@ When the area where track names and other data are stored is full, subsequent track
names mav be lost when a track is divided. TOC FULL — (65 | )
