Check the whole powder management station for dust, powder, or aerosol on the covers, doors,
and so on.

If required, clean the station more using a vacuum cleaner with a soft-brush nozzle.
3.
Additionally, you can wipe the areas with a lint-free cloth dampened with a general-purpose
industrial cleaner (such as Simple Green industrial cleaner).

Clean the refiller and sieve area
Before you start to clean the refiller and sieve areas, ensure that the refiller cover is in place and locked.
Afterwards ensure that you remove it.

Always follow the steps of the procedure in the order presented.
1.
Remove the build unit and portable tanks.
2.
Turn the load station off.
3.
Ensure that you have an explosion-protected vacuum cleaner, an absorbent all-purpose cloth
and/or a lint-free cloth dampened with a general-purpose industrial cleaner (such as Simple Green
industrial cleaner) (these things are not provided by HP).
4.
You are recommended to wear safety goggles, gloves, a safety mask, and safety boots. The area is
marked with warning symbols.
