4-2 Sequential Recording
This unit allows you to perform
sequential recording with the recorder
and player.
When you perform overwrite
recording using only two cassettes, the
last two hours recording can be
obtained at any time.
Rewind the tape to the top beforehand.

Insert the cassettes into the
recorder and player.

Connect the recorder and player,
as for editing (see page 2-6 ).

Set setup menu item 014 to a
setting other than OFF (see page
6-5).

When you renew the cassette about
every 1 hour, endless recording is
possible.
Use the following procedure. You can
do control panel operations on the
recorder and player during sequential
recording.

Press the RECORDER button to
light the RECORDER indicator.

Simultaneously press the ENTRY/
SHIFT button, REC button, and
PLAY button.
The recorder side begins
recording.
The STANDBY indicator of the
player goes out. The POWER
indicator turns to orange.
