Troubleshooting

Use the following Troubleshooting table to troubleshoot the CCS 1000 D Digital Discussion
System.

Troubleshooting table

Problem
No sound from loudspeakers
of all Discussion Devices.
No sound from loudspeaker
of a Discussion Device.
Faint or distorted sound from
Discussion Device.
Brief interruption in the audio
during a meeting/discussion.
Microphone does not
respond.
Acoustic feedback from
Discussion Devices.

Possible cause
Loudspeaker volume too low. Use the volume control
Headphones are connected to
the Discussion Device.
One or more trunk lines are
overloaded.
Recorder settings
changed during a
meeting/discussion.
Individual microphone
outputs changed during
a meeting/discussion.
One or more trunk lines are
overloaded.
An acoustical path is created
between a loudspeaker and a
microphone.

Possible solution
button on the Control Unit or
web browser interface to
centrally increase the volume
of all Discussion Devices.
Remove the headphones.
Reduce the load on the trunk-
lines:
Reduce the number of
Discussion Device, or
Reduce the length of the
extension cable(s).
Do not change settings during
a meeting/discussion.
Reduce the load on the trunk-
lines:
Reduce the number of
Discussion Devices, or
Reduce the length of the
extension cable(s).
Use the volume control
on the Control Unit to
centrally decrease the
volume of all Discussion
Devices.
Decrease the volume of
the Control Unit
loudspeaker.
Increase the distance
between the Discussion
Devices and/or the
Control Unit.
Increase the distance
between the headphone
and the microphone of a
Bosch Security B.V.
