PERIODIC MAINTENANCE

REPLACING THE FUSE

WARNING
• Always use a fuse of the specified
rating, and never use a substitute
object in place of the proper fuse.
An improper fuse or a substitute
object can cause damage to the
electrical system, which could lead
to a fire.
• Avoid spraying water around the
fuse when washing the Snowblower.
Doing so may cause electricity to
leak or a short circuit to occur.
1. Stop the engine and remove the engine
switch key.
2. Remove the right side cover by remov-
ing bolts.

3. Replace the blown fuse with a new
one.
Fuse capacity:
30 A (blade-type fuse)
1. Fuse
2. Spare fuse

1. New fuse
2. Blown fuse
TIP
If the fuse immediately blows again, have a
Yamaha dealer check the electrical system.
4. Install the right side cover by installing
Tightening torque:
– 57 –
bolts.
Right side cover bolt:
10 Nm (1.0 m·kgf, 7.2 ft·lbf)
