Space Requirements
The Check Point IP2450 Security Platform is designed for front-screw mounting in a 19-inch
rack. Each IP2450 requires the following space in a rack:
3.5 inches (8.89 centimeters) of vertical space
18 inches (46 centimeters) behind the front-panel of the rack
6 inches (15 centimeters) behind the IP2450 to allow the back exit fan to move air through
the appliances
Caution
Do not block the ventilation holes on the IP2450. The appliance might overheat and get
damaged.
