At the left side of the machine, align a drain pan
under the charge filter

Remove the filter.

Wipe clean the filter mounting area of the filter
head.
6.
Apply a thin coat of the specified hydraulic fluid
to the gasket of the new charge filter.
7.
Thread the filter onto the filter head by hand until
the gasket contacts the mounting surface, then
rotate the filter an additional 1/2 turn.

Lower and latch the seat; refer to
Seat (page
44).

Checking for Leaks

1.
Start the engine and run it for 2 minutes to purge
air from the hydraulic system.
2.
Shut off the engine, remove the key, and check
for leaks at the return and charge filters.
Note:
Repair all hydraulic leaks.

Service Interval: Every 2,000 hours—If you

Distributor because the system must be flushed.
Contaminated fluid looks milky or black when

Disconnect the cooler-return tube from the 90°
fitting, and allow the tank to drain.

When hydraulic fluid stops draining from the
tank, install the tube.

Fill the tank with the specified hydraulic fluid;
