Lubricating the Bucket

Service Interval: Before each use or daily
Every 200 hours
Using a grease gun, pump general purpose grease
into the six grease fittings on the 4-in-1 bucket until
the grease begins to ooze
any excess grease with a shop cloth.

Maintenance Procedure
• Lubricate the bucket
• Ensure that all fasteners are securely tightened.
• Inspect the hydraulic system for leaks and loose fittings.
• Clean the areas around the bucket cylinder and mount plate pivot.
• Check for wear of pins, linkages, and cutting edges.
• Grease the bucket pivot points.
• Ensure that the relay and loader-end harness and valve manifold solenoid harness
are secure.
• Lubricate the bucket
• Inspect the hydraulic system for leaks and loose fittings.
• Inspect the hydraulic system for leaks and loose fittings.

Adjusting the 4-in-1 Bucket
Operation
The speed control on the valve manifold can be used
to adjust the opening and closing speed of the 4-in-1
bucket jaws.
1. Start the engine and raise the loader arm so that
the 4-in-1 bucket is clear of the ground.
2. Remove the 4 bolts and washers securing the
valve manifold cover to the 4-in-1 bucket and
remove the cover
3. Move the auxiliary hydraulics lever from the
neutral to forward flow direction a couple of
times to relieve any hydraulic system pressure
in the valve manifold.
Note:
If there is hydraulic pressure acting in
the valve manifold the control knob cannot be
moved.
4. Loosen the speed control locking nut (turning
it counterclockwise) to allow the adjustment of
speed control knob
