During the preliminary stages of project development, interfaces between the
Colour Letter Scanner and the third party machine were specified and
released and respective documents were provided for all the involved
parties. The requirements described in the following specifications have to
be met for scanner installation:
Interface Specification IDD_TCIM – Machine / Scanner electrical,
mechanical Interfaces
"Canada MLOCR / Scanner Interface Specification"
Interface Specification IDD_TCIS – Machine / Serial Interface
"Canada TCIS Interface Specification"
The CLSC3000 complies with EC directive 2004/108/EC (EMC directive)
and with the requirements of Subpart B of Part 15 of the Federal
Communication Commission (FCC) Rules for Class A Devices and the
Canadian Interference-Causing Equipment Standard ICES-003 for digital
apparatus.
