2-1-4 Lower Control Panel (Time Code Section)

!§ MENU button and indicator
When you press this button, the indicator lights and a
menu is displayed. When you press this button again,
the indicator goes out, and any changes are not saved.
!¶ SET button
When you press this button after changing one or more
items in the menu, those changes are saved.
!• Time counter display
Displays the following time data according to the
setting of the time counter display switch.
CTL: Tape running time in hours, minutes, seconds
and frames, as determined by counting the CTL
signals read from the tape being played back.
TC: Time code being read from the tape by the built-
in time code reader. Either the LTC or VITC time
code is displayed, according to the setting of the
TC selector on the system set-up panel.

Lower control panel (time code section)
U-BIT: User's bits included in the time code being
read from the tape. User's bits included in LTC or
VITC time codes are displayed, according to the
setting of the TC selector on the system set-up
panel.
For the meanings of the error codes ("Error-XX")
displayed in the time counter display, refer to the
Maintenance Manual Part 1.
!ª COUNTER buttons
Press one of these buttons according to the type of data
to be displayed in the time counter display.
