10.3.5 Cascaded Sites Fail to Attend a Conference
Symptom
A conference that contains cascaded sites has been initiated and the cascaded sites have been
added to the conference properly. The cascaded sites, however, fail attend the conference.

Solution
Issue 10 (2013-07-20)
The secondary MCU is not online on the GK or has not been registered with the GK.
For the secondary MCU, use an MCU of the same model and with the same
specifications as the primary MCU.
Ensure that both the primary and secondary MCUs are added to the RM, and are
registered with and online on the GK.
The parameter settings of the cascaded sites at different levels on the network are
inconsistent.
The cascading types set for the cascaded sites at different levels on the network are
inconsistent.
The conference number dialed by certain cascaded sites are incorrect.
The number of channels set for the cascaded sites at different levels on the network are
inconsistent.
H.264 4CIF, 720p, or 1080p continuous presence is defined in the conference.
Verify that the parameter settings of the cascaded sites at different levels on the network
are consistent.
Verify that the cascading types set for the cascaded sites at different levels on the
network are consistent.
Verify that the conference number dialed by the cascaded sites at different levels on the
network are correct.
Verify that the number of channels set for the cascaded sites at different levels on the
network are consistent.
Set the conference not to support continuous presence.
