Fitting the roof hooks with roof tiles

WARNING:
System damage from subsequent loosening of the long nuts on the
roof hooks!
When the nut is tightened, a lock is activated.
▶ If the long nut is undone more than once, secure it on site (such as
with suitable adhesive).
▶ Undo nut with a 5 mm Allen key to turn or move the bottom part of the
roof hook [1].
▶ If the combined thickness of the roof tile and batten is more than
70 mm, use the roof hook as a rafter anchor.

Hooking the roof hooks into the roof batten
▶ Slide the roof tiles up around the roof hook positions.

▶ Place the roof hooks into the valley of the corrugation and hook under
the batten.
▶ Push the bottom part of the roof hook [1] up to the batten.

▶ Tighten nut [3] when the serrated washer [2] grips the teeth of the
bottom part of the roof hook.

To prevent windblown snow from entering:
▶ Carefully remove the roof tile contact points in the roof hook area.
