Installing the roof connection

Transporting the storage tank
If you want to place the storage tank on level ground:
▶ Lay the storage tank on the styrofoam panel [1] of the packaging.

To protect the storage tank during transport:
▶ Do not remove the DHW cylinder from its packaging until it has
reached the installation location.
▶ Position the hand truck at the side of the DHW cylinder with the
styrofoam panel.
▶ Secure the DHW cylinder to the means of transportation with a strap.
6 Installing the roof connection
6.1

Transferring the clearances of the roof connection to the roof

NOTICE:
Roof leaks from incorrect positioning of the roof connection!
Roof tiles have a peak and a valley.
▶ Always install double-ended screws on the peak.
▶ Always install roof hooks in the valley.

▶ Transport the DHW cylinder to the installation location.
▶ Remove the DHW cylinder from the packaging only at the installation
location.

▶ Determine the clearances and transfer to the roof.
