Problem
The gas flame goes out
after being lit.
The flame suddenly
looks different.
The gas flame goes out
during operation.
The ignitor on the
burner does not spark.
Possible cause and remedy
The flames do not touch the flame failure monitor and
the burner does not get hot enough:
The burner parts are not positioned correctly.
 Position the burner parts correctly.
The flame failure monitor is dirty.
 Remove any soiling.
The burner parts are not positioned correctly.
 Position the burner parts correctly.
The burner head or the holes in the burner cap are
dirty.
 Remove any soiling.
The burner parts are not positioned correctly.
 Position the burner parts correctly.
The mains circuit breaker has tripped.
 If it has, contact a qualified electrician or Miele.
There is food residue stuck between the ignitor and
the burner cap.
The flame failure monitor is dirty.
 Remove any soiling (See "Cleaning and care").
